Jessica Alba was born to mark Alba and Catherine Jensen in California, on 28th April 1981. Her father was in air force and they had to move to various cities like v before finally settling in California. She was a pretty sick child in youth suffering from swollen appendicitis, tonsil problems, asthma and even lung failure. But she got much better after moving to California. With waving brown hair and hazel brown eyes grew up to be an eye catcher with vitals of 34-25-34, Statistics, which every playboy girl would envy to have.
She can be called a prodigy and was interested in acting by age five. She enrolled into acting classes when she turned twelve and even before a year she was signed up by an agency. Jessica Alba’s break came in form of the film “camp nowhere”. Lady luck smiled on him when a main actress pulled out of the film and she was roped in as she had the same hair color. She had also starred in a couple of advertisements like Nintendo and J.C.Penny. She also played a recurring role in "The Secret World of Alex Mac." Where she decides to make miserable for the lead hero with magical powers and acting like a snob. Jessica was also the Maya for two seasons in the hugely popular TV show, “flipper”.
Her role as a snobby high school clique got her new fans and critical acclaim in the drew Barry more starred Never been Kissed. She also beat 1200 contestants to flay the role of Max Guvera, a super soldier for the series Dark Angel. Soon she found herself with a larger role in the film Idle hands in which she gave a note worthy performance. With these she was now a star in Hollywood and no more a rising wannabe. Her other good performances are as dance choreographer in Honey and as an exotic dancer in film Sin City. Her future projects include Sin City 2 in a Cameo as Nancy Callahan, The Eye 2 Part 2 as Allison also in a Cameo role and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
But her greatest asset also caused her problems in building her career. It was her amazing looks that got her the initial attention. But all the roles being offered to her were like the sex kitten roles. She has been quoted that she would be selective of the films she does down he line but as of now would continue with that image only.
She got the page three rolling when decided to sue playboy magazine for using a picture of he without her consent under pretext that it made people believe that the magazine had a nude photograph of her. She withdrew the case only after Playboy owner Hugh Hefner agreed to have donations made to couple of charity organizations.
She is a born again catholic Christian, into whom strong Christian values were grown from the childhood by very religious parents and grand parents.
